Project Overview
Cloud Hill Crusher Relocation
QPI delivered a major crusher relocation support package for Breedon Group, supplying and installing a 1400mm x 180m conveyor as part of a project designed to help unlock a further 4 million tonnes of valuable stone reserves.
Drawing on extensive experience in conveyor systems and bulk material handling, QPI provided a robust and reliable solution capable of meeting the demanding requirements of a busy quarrying operation.
In addition to the installation of the new conveyor, the project also involved the relocation of the original sacrificial conveyor and crash box, both of which had been designed and engineered by QPI during previous phases of the site’s development. By integrating existing infrastructure with new equipment, the team helped maximise the value of earlier investments while ensuring the system continued to operate efficiently and safely.
The Cloud Hill Crusher Relocation highlights QPI’s ability to deliver complex engineering projects from concept through to installation, working closely with customers to develop practical solutions that support long-term operational goals across the quarrying and bulk handling industries.
