Environmental Policy

Quarry Plant and Industry Ltd is the UK’s leading supplier of conveyor belting,

conveyor related products & on-site vulcanising & fitting services - We are strongly

committed to conducting our operations in an environmentally responsible manner.

Our aim is to:

• Continuously improve our environmental performance and work to reduce the carbon

footprint of both ours and our customers’ businesses

• Reduce our consumption of resources and improve the efficient use of those resources

• Manage waste generated from our business operations according to the principles of

reduction, re-use and recycling wherever possible

• Manage our business operations to prevent pollution to the environment

• Improve the efficiency of all our processing equipment and make environmental

considerations key to planning future equipment investment

• Ensure environmental criteria are taken into account in the procurement of goods and

services

• Design and promote products and solutions for our customers that have a reduced

environmental impact

All QPI employees are responsible for observing and advancing our Environmental

Sustainability Policy

Our current environmental practices and solutions:

• Run as paperless an office as actions permits and utilise recycled paper

• Encourage all employees to act in an environmentally responsible way

• Recycle waste products throughout our business

• Work with customers to offer waste solutions where possible

• Invest in vehicles with industry leading low emissions as far as reasonably practicable and

consider transitioning to electric vehicles for future fleet purchases as suitable vehicles

become available
